CAN GOPHERS BE ELIMINATED FOR GOOD?

You can effectively remove gophers currently infesting your lawn and garden. Unfortunately, this will not stop gophers from surrounding areas from entering your property, and taking over where the old gopher left off. Unlike ants and bugs, no barrier can be created to keep them out of your lawns. You can exclude them from sensitive areas with gopher resistant lining and baskets.

DO I HAVE A GOPHER OR A MOLE?

Identifying the correct burrowing pest can be difficult. Mound shape, size, direction of paths will all help in determining what type of burrowing rodent you have. In any event our service will cover either pest.

There are a variety of pet safe methods for controlling gophers including trapping and gassing. With either method no chemicals or residual poisons are left behind.

WHAT HOME MEATHODS CAN I TRY TO REMOVE GOPHERS?

Everyones first attempt at home removal methods usually includes sticking a hose in the tunnel and turning on the water. Gophers tunnels have built in drainage tunnels to protect themselves from rain so this will rarely work consistently. Many methods including placement of mint in tunnels, oils, bubblegum, spicy or pungent odors are used to attempt to deter gophers. Gopher resistant plants and ground sonic devices are also used. Generally these methods offer mediocre results.

Gopher baskets and wire mesh can exclude gophers from sensitive areas and offer better results.
